Appearance
HE HAS SEVERAL FACES IN HIS REPERTOIRE AND HE IS USUALLY ABLE TO ADAPT INTO ANY FEATURES HE WANTS, BUT I WILL BE MERCIFUL AND ONLY HAVE A SELECT FEW.
Click here for the faces bound to be used in this game. If you have any questions or are never sure which identity it is, I do generally put names in brackets (though frequently Klein will still think of himself as "Klein"--or he would if he remembered his name), but you are more than welcome to hit me up to clarify.
Notable Features
He still has a certain tattoo on his chest over his heart. It doesn't do anything, but one might sense that it was the binding of a curse, once.
For anyone able to sense things spiritually or magically, please refer to this post and click the dropdowns to the degree that your character would investigate the oddities of this guy. :)
Sometimes there will be instances of Klein's skin becoming aged like a centenarian's, or see-through where you can actually see past the skin to the blood and organs under it, or masses of flesh coming off of his skin in horribly disfiguring ways, or even there may be a case of spiritual maggots and other such worms of a spiritual nature crawling around in and through him. These are signs of a Beyonder of his Pathway nearing a berserking state and should be taken seriously as such.

MANY FACES
The usual form he tends to take, standing at the 5'11" height with black hair and brown eyes. In icons, if he's looking a bit fluffier haired and generally softer expression, it's Klein. If he's wearing a black and yellow hood or looking especially mysterious, it's The Fool (still Klein, but acting more god-like).
His most-used second form. Still standing at 5'11" height with black hair and brown eye. A bit more asian features to his face to more closely resemble his original original face. In icons, if he's got hair slicked back with glasses and looking especially stern, it's Gehrman.
5'11" height but hair a bit lighter (more a dark brown) and longer but fluffy, and eyes still brown, expressions tend to lean to more frivolous or soft ones. If icons show a guy who looks a bit like a hobo or a wandering magician and tends to have a scarf, it's Merlin.
Standing at 5'8", modern Chinese man in appearance with black hair and dark brown eyes, this is the original appearance of the man who transmigrated into Klein Moretti's body. If icons have a kind less Will Kill You Gehrman-looking guy who may or may not be eating food, it's likely Zhou Mingrui.
A form he hasn't used but will probably show up at some point. Black hair, brown eyes, and still standing at 5'11". Very ancient Chinese appearance, actually. It's the face of the former Lord of Mysteries. This is fine. :) If icons have long straight hair, it's this guy.
A black cat that looks especially eldritch and will occasionally have tentacles. Don't even worry about it (Not A Canon Face, Jeva Just Likes To Have Fun)
PINGS AND PERCEPTIVE ABILITIES
do you look?
You can get an idea of his current situation in the thread! But you might feel like something about this is almost uncanny, like you're looking at something play-acting as a relatively low- to mid-level powered human. Strange but nothing to look too deep into. Maybe.d̸o̵ ̸y̶o̵u̴ ̴l̵o̵o̵k̶ ̶d̶e̸e̴p̷e̴r̸?
You might notice this "act" or "performance" more acutely and realize that it's almost like this form is not the "complete picture". Almost as if there are strings coming off of his limbs, directing his movements from above. Like a puppet, a marionette. And these strings go... somewhere. Not here, at least. And along with that uncanny feeling comes something not unlike an existential dread, a subtle knowing that you shouldn't try to see what may be on the other side.d̴̨̳͚͎͋̏͑̊ơ̶̮̝̖͋ ̸͇̂̓́́͝y̵̤͒͐̋o̵͇̦̥̤͋̑̒̆ű̴͖̥͙͋̐ ̷͍̭̞̥̅l̵̖̫̝̫͋ǫ̷̖̰̓̆̄͗̋ơ̶̡͍̙̋̈́k̷͎̯̏ ̴̗̞͍̘̝̀͋̊́c̴̭̅͊̎l̴̹̜͈͑̒͝ŏ̷͕͘ş̵̥͌̌͑̇̈ẹ̶̝̜͒̈̊͝ŗ̵͎̭̘̀͆̾͝? (here there be big spoilers!)
... you'll realize IMMEDIATELY that you have made A HUGE ERROR unless you are at a god-level canonly, and even then, it was still A Bad Idea.In The Lord of Mysteries one of the most key things established about the magic system is that there are entities, information, histories, and symbols that can corrupt even just by knowing about it. Things above a human level understanding--demi-god, angelic/demonic, or god tier existences--are among those things. Corruption can vary from person to person but most commonly, it's a complete breakdown on mental faculties and an unleashing of violence and insanity. Think Lovecraftian-esque in the Horrors Of The Impossible-To-Know.
Klein Moretti is, in fact, actually a step above even the True Gods.
So. Enjoy that beyond existential horror of a Universal Pillar (Ruler of Spiritual Worlds level) staring right at back you and despair, on the brink of lost control.
The good thing is that nerfing means that it's probably just that instance of the split second and you will recover with new knowledge of DO NOT LOOK SO CLOSELY AGAIN, ACTUALLY unless there is some event that caps people 100%. Klein may not be able to use all of his capabilities at this level of being here (that would be too game breaking) but that doesn't mean he's any less of what he is.
Something you may have seen in that split second:
A glowing bluish-black door which seems to flicker in and out of existence within a massive dark vortex bristling with slick tentacles consisting of Worms of Spirit, Worms of Time, and Worms of Stars. The vortex is covered with a coat;
the inside of which is an abyss, seemingly infinite, as if it contains an entire universe and a Spirit World connected to every planet.
Of course, good luck articulating that. You won't really be able to. You might even feel a bit like your thoughts have slowed down and you're too Blindingly Stupid to even think about it further. It's probably better to accept being Fooled into believing nothing happened at all, even. Or mayhap it's almost like someone legit just Stole that moment right from your head. Saves you from potential corruption!
You can roll a 1d22 and get some random snippet of information or hidden knowledge You Definitely Did Not Know Before, however!
Sometimes looking directly at a god has some perks (even if the information might be useless in game setting, heh).
FLOWER TATTOO - CHEST, OVER HEART
he spider mum (chrysanthemum x morifolium) come in many different colors and their meaning can vary based on where and when they’re used.
It’s known as a flower for the superstitious. There are many surrounding rituals associated with multiple varieties of mums. In Asia, the mum is a symbol of a long and happy life.
In Greek legend, mums are viewed as a protector against evil spirits (which is the reason you’ll often see these blooms in graveyards). But don’t pick them! Tradition states that graveside mums will bring bad luck, headaches, and nightmares to those that choose to pluck them from the ground.
